First day sitting by the creek with the girls and the pups makes me all sorts of excited for summer.

AD Every year we work on new outside projects, and then the next year I forget that it's one more space that needs to be cleaned to be ready for use. Thankfully this year I had the opportunity to work with my local @truevalue to get our deck ready!

I spent the day doing my favorite activity and pressure washed everything in sight! The deck, rug, patio furniture, and planters all got washed. I could not be happier with the new cordless Dewalt pressure washer that I picked up from my local True Value.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My local store is always so good to me and with this project they went the extra mile to help me track down the cordless pressure washer so I can use it anywhere on the property regardless of water or electricity. Next up I will be washing the chicken coop, the rv, and here soon we will get the campground set back up and I will be able to wash the tent.

Happy weekend! It my first full weekend home after

Happy weekend! It my first full weekend home after my two week trip to Israel and it has been non stop rain since I got back. Part of me wants to spend the weekend cuddled up on the couch but I know that’s unlikely to happen as I have lots to do around the house and we have a birthday to go to today.

I did a walk in the garden yesterday and I think as soon as this storm passed I can start getting to work on prep and planting for the Spring. My favorite 5 letter word SPRING

Last night I spent an hour deep watering all my plants and trying to explain to Glenn how to know if one of the more temperamental ones looks sad. I also had to make sure I forwarded all important emails about the girls activities to both him and my mom. I finished the evening with probably my 20th load of laundry for the week.

Why did I do all this?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Well for the first time in over 2 years I will be traveling out of the country for two weeks for work! You may or may not know this but pre 2019 I actually traveled on a monthly basis for work. As a family we had it down and Glenn and the girls were rockstars while I was away. But, this is the first time I have been away from them in such a long time. I know they will all be rockstars again, I just hope I am ok being away from them.

Wish me and the plants luck ;) I will be sharing more in stories while I am away and when I get back its time for some Spring projects!

Man preparing for a vacation is a lot of work!

Wrapping up work projects, packing, and cleaning so you don’t come home to a full on s**t show is stressful, but it will all be worth it when I get to sit on the river with all of our family and friends next week.

Also yes I realize I have not shared much of our kitchen. We are stillllllll (8 months in) waiting for our new windows to get in so I can finish this dang room!

I still have some work to get done in the trailer,

I still have some work to get done in the trailer, but this weekend is a swim meet weekend so those projects will have to wait. I only have one weekend left to get all the little projects finished up in the trailer before we pack it up and head to Arizona for 10 days!

I don’t know if the bathroom wallpaper will get finished before then, but I sure am in love with the way the wallpaper on our pop out turned out.

So remember how I said I had to move the buffet to make room for our new pups? Well who said dog kennels can’t look good too?!

I am grateful my mom swapped me my buffet for this kennel for awhile. Haven and Raven have quite the dog mansion thanks to her.
